[SpecMap] Using SpecMap Slice-to-Iteration Links WITHOUT SpecMap being the 'Master'
I was wondering if it would be possible to operate SpecMap in more of a 'slave' rather than 'master' mode, which I think is sort of how the Feature Timeline functionality in Azure Dev Ops (ADO) works. By this I mean things like - if Slices are linked to Iterations then moving Work Items between Slices in SpecMap DOESN'T move them in ADO but does, as happens already in SpecMap, highlight that there is a difference between the Story Map and the Work Item's actual Sprint.
In relation to this, there a few other things that would be useful.
- Being able to display the Work Item's Iteration on the SpecMap Story card, I don't this can be done currently.
- Being able to link a Slice to a range of Iterations so that, for example, a Slice could be created to show the Work Items that are relevant to a particular Release, when the work for that Release is scheduled across multiple Iterations. I don't think this is quite supported at the moment, other than using Features to determine if a Release is finished.
