This is, I think, what Carline Marcelin has mentioned in the last bullet here : https://support.specflow.org/hc/en-us/community/posts/360012893478-Automatically-add-and-update-cards-from-the-linked-Slices-UA-the-children-of-the-linked-Iteration-or-linked-UA-Work-Item-
Given that the map is linked to a team via the dropdown selection
And if that teams' backlog iteration has been set correctly
Then I want to be able to press a button, or click a link, which will then order the work items mapped to the cards in that team's backlog in left-to-right, top-to-bottom order as shown below:
Since there might be other work items in that backlog, the work items should be sorted in a block starting at the highest starting position of all the mapped work items (i.e. position '1' is higher than '10').
- if I have work items, in left-to-right order, 3, 2, 1 on my map
- And their current respective positions in the team's backlog are #20, #18, #26
- Then WI 3 should be placed at #18; WI 2 at #19 and WI 3 at #20
This then ensures that the respective sort order of any other stories in the backlog are maintained, whilst placing all the stories on the map in one 'chunk' which can then easily be moved up and down in one go.
