During Build > Build Solution feature.cs files are always regenerated

    If you had the feature.cs files already checked in, simply putting feature.cs in the .gitignore isn't enough.

    You need to delete the files first and commit the delete. Then modify the .gitignore.

    After that, you should not get any changes after build.

     

    What is interesting, that this is happen at all, because we have checks, that we don't write to the file, when the content didn't change. 

    Is there a problem with your line-ending config of your git repo?

    Andreas Willich  Thank you for your reply. Sounds good. I will delete feature.cs file from git repo.

    Even though content is not changed still TechTalk.SpecFlow.Table.tablename in feature.cs (like TechTalk.SpecFlow.Table table513 ) changes sometime, when I hit build.

    Also other interesting thing is, the step contains a table(like TechTalk.SpecFlow.Table table513) with more than 30 columns.
