    Hi Ravi Bhalala (rbhalala),

the activation check should be skipped when the runner is executed via any Azure agent so this is curious to me.

Are you using the latest version of the runner?

Yes Jordan Western, I am using 3.9.7 and I believe it is the latest one.

It doesn't give straightforward error but when I login into my actual agent and try to execute dotnet test command with dll files it is giving activation prompt.

    Hi Ravi Bhalala (rbhalala),

This is expected because it is no longer the agent account executing the tests, it is you.

You would have to register to execute in this way, as you would from your local machine.
