Licence Issue

Hi,

 

I hope you are well.

 

My specflow runner licence has expired since 2020-04-01. SpecRun.Runner, SpecRun.SpecFlow and SpecFlow.Tools.MsBuild.generation have been installed already. Before I activated the license, when I ran the test, I got an error message like the license expired. I just activated my licence today. But tests are not running now. to make sure that licence activated, I followed Installing specflow.plus.licence steps https://docs.specflow.org/projects/specflow-runner/en/latest/Installation/SpecFlowPlus-Licensing-Tool.html when I run  dotnet tool install --global SpecFlow.Plus.License output is dotnet tool install --global SpecFlow.Plus.License after that I run specflow-plus-license about then I got the registered licence has been expired since 2020-04-01. You can use it for versions built until unlimited

There might be issue but I could not figure it out. Why I got "The chromedriver.exe file does not exist in the current directory or in a directory on the PATH environment variable. " issue when I run the test? Chromedriver.exe already exist. The test was running with a Xunit runner. What am I missing?

  Do you have now a license issue or an issue that ChromeDriver.exe is not found? I am confused.

  Sorry for confusion. When I run specflow-plus-license about output supposed to be like “ registered licence has been expired since 2020-04-01. You can use it for versions built until unlimited”? Is that means licence activated successfully or not?

  Beside this, after licence activated, I didn’t get any licence key. Basically I just want to make sure that licence activated or not.

  If the license isn't valid anymore, you will get an error when you try to run your scenarios. So if you get an error that ChromeDriver.exe wasn't found, your scenarios get executed and the license is fine.

  Thank you very much for your info. Do you know any other way to generate cucumber json report without using specflow+ Runner? Is it possible to generate it with Xunit runner or any other way?

  There is no solution from us to generate a cucumber json report.

  You could probably use the result json from SpecFlow+ LivingDoc that you get from `livingdoc feature-data` (https://docs.specflow.org/projects/specflow-livingdoc/en/latest/LivingDocGenerator/CLI/livingdoc-feature-data.html) to transform it to the cucumber json report.
